On June 13, the local GEMS Girls’ Clubs are hosting a Walk the Micah Road Experience. This walk-a-thon is for EVERYONE – young and old, girls and boys, singles and families. Even if you’ve never heard of GEMS Girls’ Clubs, you’re invited!

Place: Robbins Island, Located between Foot and Willmar Lakes, N Highway 71, Willmar, Minnesota
Time: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Cost: Free! (Although a donation at the registration table to GEMS Girls’ Clubs would be appreciated!)
What will you experience?
Interactive learning! Three shelter houses contain self-guided learning stations that explain God’s walking requirements for our lives, and offer practical ways to start and continue your personal journey down the Micah Road. The three stations are based on Micah 6:8, to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God.
Fun! One of the shelter houses contains games for kids. There will also be huge inflatables, face painting, miniature golf, a free throw contest and more! Plus, enjoy the sunshine and great walking trails!
Food! There will be plenty of snacks and drinks for sale! Refuel yourself to enjoy all the fun!
Justice Mission: This event will raise funds for local clubs and the GEMS ministry – specifically The Call to Africa. Funds will be used to expand our effors to share the Micah Road lifestyle with more girls locally and to help build a school for orphans in Africa. Come and experience all the good things planned for you!
